Yamaha sales December 2024 – Rayzr, FZ, Fascino, R15, Aerox, MT15, R3
Yamaha’s sales decreased hard in December 2024, as all products with the exception of Rayzr showed an improvement in the demand for an annual basis
Yamaha Motor India witnessed a sharp decrease in sales in December 2024. Sales in local markets decreased by 8.15 % year on an annual basis to 36780 units, a decrease from 40042 units sold in December 2023. This is linked to a decrease in 3262 units. . Yamaha has also suffered a 34.06 % decrease on a monthly basis (MOM) compared to 55,781 units in November 2024, a larger decrease in sizes by 19,001 units. This decrease in sales is seen commonly after the festive demand and is typical in the two -wheeled Indian market.

Each model in the company’s portfolio witnessed a decrease in sales with the exception of Rayzr. Rayzr sales grew by 38.86% to 12,002 units last month, increasing from 8,643 units in December 2024 to account for a 32.63% stake in the company’s portfolio. However, sales on a monthly basis suffered a 16.81 % setback where 14,428 units were sold in November 2024.
After that, each December 2024 model ended with a decrease in Yamaha FZ sales by 20.63% on an annual basis and 50.59% on a monthly basis to 8,558 units. This sports street bike sales exceeded 10,000 units in December 2023 and November 2024 at 10783 units and 14406 units, respectively. Yamaha Vasino came third, also in the scooter sector, with sales of 5,475 units in December 2024, a decrease of 1.86% compared to 5,579 units sold in December 2023. Its sales decreased on a monthly basis by 30.88% than 7,921 units sold in a year. November 2024. Yamaha Fascino’s share in the company’s portfolio is 15.89%.
Yamaha MT15 and R15 – decreased growth with a dual number
Double -number decrease in sales has been reported for both Yamaha MT15 and R15. MT15 sales decreased by 18.43% on an annual basis and 47.20% on a monthly basis to 5,224 units. 6404 units and 9894 units were sold in December 2023 and November 2024, respectively. On the other hand, R15 sales have suffered a 41.77 % decrease on an annual basis to 4269 units of 7331 units sold in December 2023. Its sales fell on a monthly basis by 39.92 % compared to 7105 units sold in November 2024.
Yamaha Aerox also witnessed a noticeable decrease in sales on an annual and monthly basis in December 2024. sales decreased by 4.15% to 1,248 units in December 2024 while monthly sales decreased by 38.19% compared to sales of 2,019 units in November 2024. There were only 4 units of R3/MT03 was sold last month in relation to a 50 % decrease on a monthly basis from 8 units sold in November 2024.
Yamaha has a healthy sales goal for 2025 when the company plans a series of new launch operations. The latest disclosures at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 earlier this month revealed TENERE 700, Lander 250 and MT-09 in addition to R7. The company also offered both FZ-S and FZ-X Hybrid before the official launch.
