Since the new year, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has been updating its portfolio. Besides ensuring OBD2B compliance, Honda has also introduced new features for its scooters and motorcycles. The 2025 Honda Activa got the same treatment and was updated for the 2025 model year. Updated models also include the Honda Dio, CB650R, CBR650R and Livo.

Honda Activa 2025 launched – what’s new?

One of the most important updates is OBD2B compliance for the 109.51cc PGM-Fi single-cylinder engine. This ensures that Activa is prepared to meet mandates set under the upcoming tougher emissions regulations. obd2b is the next stage of obd Stage II (BS VI) emission standards. The multiple sensors are part of the vehicle’s on-board diagnostics (OBD) systems, which measure emissions in real time and alert the rider of any irregularities.

The updated Honda Activa 2025 engine generates 8 horsepower and 9.05 Nm of torque. Users can expect improved fuel efficiency, as the engine is equipped with an idle engine stop system. This setting is designed to stop wasting fuel at short stops such as traffic lights. The engine shuts off automatically at such short stops. Users can start the engine again just by turning the throttle grip. If all vehicles were equipped with an idle stop system and everyone used it, fossil fuel use could decrease dramatically.

New features

Honda Activa 2025 gets a new 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity. When paired with the Honda RoadSync app, users have access to a wide range of connectivity features such as calls, text alerts and navigation. Another useful update is the addition of a USB Type-C charging port.

Color options available for the 2025 Honda Activa include Precious White Pearl, Decent Blue Metallic, Fiery Black Pearl, Matt Access Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Blue Pearl. Except for the OBD2B compatible engine, other hardware specifications remain the same as before. The Honda Activa uses a subterranean frame, with telescopic front forks and a three-step adjustable rear suspension.
